Double shaft shredder
A double shaft shredder, also known as the two-shaft shredder, the shear shredder, is an industrial shredder that reduces the size of materials by shearing, tearing, and squeezing. It is widely used in waste plastics, waste rubber, wood, and other bulky waste. Twin-shaft shredders play a very important role in the plastics recycling industry, as do single-shaft shredders.

The main working part of the double shaft shredder is a pair of opposite rotating rollers, which are equipped with spirally arranged teeth. After entering the machine, the material is torn and sheared by the staggered rotating teeth made of high hardness and wear-resisting material, and then it is split, crushed and pulverized to a size lower than the set size and forced out of the machine. The roller is driven by the motor through the reducer and has a large torque, when it encounters difficult to crush, it will automatically reverse under the action of PLC automatic control system, and repeatedly forward and reverse until the material is crushed and discharged.

Motor and gearbox
Motor：Select the power of the motor according to the configuration of the shredder.
Gearbox:reduce the speed, increase the torque, set the start, stop, reverse and overload automatic reverse control function, with low speed, large torque, low noise and other characteristics.
(1) twin-shaft shredder shear mode and shear effect is determined by the number of knife claws and blade thickness.
(2) The above two points also determine the shear force of the equipment, so the correct choice of blade structure must be based on production needs.
The shaft and tool body joint structure is firstly tempered to obtain good mechanical properties during machining.Surface nitriding is applied to the whole part to improve the surface hardness of the mating surface, which solves the problem that the mating position of the hole and shaft is easily deformed under alternating load, and causes misalignment and seizure.

Double-shaft shredder structure has: shredder shredder box part, shredder blade part, knife shaft, electric frequency conversion system.Equipped with “double motors – double planetary reducer”, the power is more powerful. It is especially suitable for large pieces of waste, paper mill rope, car shells, used appliances and other materials with relatively high crushing difficulty.
